Meet the Artists

I have had an interest in art since childhood. I took well to drawing. In a precollege program at Rhode Island School of Design, I studied many subjects and grew quite a bit. In college, at Rutgers University, I studied art with a concentration in computer art. I studied marketing in an MBA program and worked concomitantly as a computer artist. I decided to get closer to the fields relevant to Fine Art and became an elementary art teacher. I enjoy the teaching process and the exposure to young artists.
My art is concerned with what is both visual and emotional. I draw, paint, and experiment with gel printmaking. A theme of domination and social pressure joins my recent works. I am also producing urban landscapes, in gouache, that reflect the town in which I teach.
