Edward Ubiera is a New York–based art director, designer, and illustrator raised between Jersey City and the Dominican Republic. Shaped by action figures, Saturday morning cartoons, and skate culture, his work carries the energy of those early obsessions into a multidisciplinary practice spanning illustration, collage, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and murals. Moving fluidly between the figurative, the literal, and the abstract, he works across both digital and hand-drawn media to create imagery that feels at once immediate and considered. His clients include The New York Times, Herman Miller, and Tidal Magazine. He lives in New York with his wife and children.
