My favorite thing to do in life is make art.  It’s a place I can go where I am in the moment.  Where I can loose myself.  I’ve taken classes but basically a self taught artist.  I have enjoyed drawing since I was young.  I’d draw my mom, sleeping cat or a bowl of fruit. I would draw my teachers instead of paying attention in class.  I used to draw people on the New York City subways on the way to work.  Many of the artists in the Nyack art collective have become my friends.  I’m always learning from them.  I found the art collective through going to figure drawing from the Nyack art collective.
